Boris Bušković, M. Sc. - Deputy Minister for Treasury Operations
Boris Bušković was born on 13th October 1969, in Podgorica, where he finished elementary and secondary school “Vaso Aligrudić“. He graduated from the Maritime Faculty in Kotor - course management, and finished postgraduate studies “Entrepreneurial Economy” in the Faculty of Economics in Podgorca (Academic Title: Economic Science Specialist).
In the period 1994 – 2009, he performed duties of a Director of the Corporative Planning Department and was a board member of the Board of Directors of the “Electric Power Industry JSC – EPCG Nikšić”. In the period 1999 – 2002 he was engaged in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED). He performed duties of a Secretary of EPCG Professional Council and was engaged as a professional associate in the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognosis (ISSP).
He took part in numerous projects, such as: Internet presentation “Privatization in Montenegro” – the official web-site of the Privatization Council, “EPCG Privatization and Modernization “ (Raiffeisen Investment AG), Financial Analysis of Small Hydro-Power plants (EPCG), Economic Effects and Justification for Introducing Block - Tariffs (EPCG), Tariff Policy for the period 2005 - 2009 (EPCG), Project for Energy Sector Urgent Stabilization of Montenegro (World Bank, Financial Manager of the Project Implementation Unit), Reform of the Energy Sector of Montenegro – Project Coordinator (European Agency for Reconstruction and IPA Energy Consulting), EPCG Legal Unbundling (a member of Coordinating Body of the Government of Montenegro), Energy Law (member of the working group of the Government of Montenegro), as well as the Project for EPCG Recapitalization (a member of the Operating Team of the Tender Commission for the Implementation of Recapitalization Process).
He took part in several capacity building projects: Introduction in Restructuring and Refinancing of Companies in Montenegro (USAID and Privatization Council), Financial Management and Analysis (FLAG International), Business Plans Development (CEED Podgorica), Financial Management (CEED Podgorica), Project Planning (CEED Podgorica), Quantitative Finance (postgraduate studies of Entrepreneurial Economy), Projects Management (CEED Podgorica), etc.
From August 2009, he serves as an Assistant Minister for Treasury Operations.
He is fluent in English and fair in Italian language.
